 Well, it's been over a year since the last post. Trisha has a new job that does not really allow for much time to create, so whenever she can, she's in the art shed doing her thing. She was able to make some really nice tempered glass mosaics and they are on display and for sale at Baratta Holistic Center at 6728 Fair Oaks Blvd #300, Carmichael, CA 95608. They're in the small waiting room where people wait for massages. We started showing there after they put out a call for local artist. It was a win-win...they got free art to decorate their walls, and we had a place to display our art. People can just scan a code and pay us directly, they take the art piece home with them after their massage. The people there are really great, and it's been a great place to show our art. We have sold many pieces from there. We love selling at the farmers markets, but this is not the time for that. So at least we have the space in Baratta. One day, we'll be back at the markets.

New Art

 Hello everyone. Has it really been 2.5 years since we posted last? Covid really did a number on us, plus, we're doing a bit of elder care as well. So, this ended up putting our little business on hold for a while. We are just now starting to get back into things, and our first event is tonight (4/7/23) at Baratta Holistic Center open house. It was by chance we saw a call for artists to display art in the lobby areas of Baratta, so we reached out and they liked our work. We are in the main lobby. Our art has turned in a new direction. We still do resin art, but most of the focus now is on glass mosaic art. We do everything from gazing balls to sea shapes to beautiful sunsets. If you follow us on Instagram, you have no doubt been seeing the new style of art. Our art is not just for decorating Baratta's office, but you can buy them right there. Just Venmo the payment and take the art home! We hope to be back at the Farmers Market soon. We're just trying to get some inventory ...

Is it already September?

Whew! What a summer! Pandemic, fires, art! SeaPlayLove has been making the best of everything and we have lots of new artwork. Thanks to our nephew-in-law, we have a new and shiny website as well! We have been busy trying to figure out the whole social media aspect of our business along with creating some remarkable new art. You can check out our new website at www.seaplaylove.com where you can now view our Instagram feed, checkout our CafePress store, and read about how all of this started. We have 3 shows planned for Sept, but, we are postponing our show on Sept 6 at Carmichael Park due to excessive heat and possible smoky conditions.  We will be there the following week on Sept 13. We will be at the Sunrise Mall Market on Sept 19 and the Magnolia Market on Sept 20. Hello SeaPlayLove fans, Welcome to our new corner of the internet. We plan to update this on occasion with our experiences in making resin artwork. We've been going through a few changes and wanted to find a place we can still communicate with all of you. So we'll be here starting around the beginning of May 2020.
